The Library Board of Trustees is a board of volunteer Garden City residents who serve without pay. Each member is appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Garden City Council for a five year term. The Trustees serve as an independent, nonpartisan board to govern the library. Further information on the powers and duties of a library trustee can be found in Idaho State Law Title 33, Chapter 26.
The Garden City Public Library Board of Trustees meet on the second Wednesday of the month at 3:00p.m., in the conference room on the second floor of City Hall. All meetings are open to the public.
