Due Diligence/Initial Discussion

If you are planning to start a business, move your business into an existing building, build or remodel a structure, subdivide land, or undertake any type of construction or land development, we recommend scheduling a due diligence/initial discussion meeting with a planner. This meeting will allow us to review your proposal and determine its viability according to Garden City zoning regulations.

This is a complimentary online meeting with a city planner, held online via Microsoft Teams. It’s a valuable opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance on your proposal before submitting your application.
 
Please note that meetings are typically conducted online; in-person meetings are limited and there will be a fee assessed. Please email building@gardencityidaho.org to set up an in-person meeting so an invoice can be generated for payment. 

To schedule your complementary Online meeting:

  1.     Visit the Due Diligence Booking Page: Link
  2.     Choose a staff member you'd like to meet with — or leave it as “Anyone.”
  3.     Pick a date and time that works for you.
  4.     Fill in your contact information.
  5.     Answer the questions provided to help us prepare.
  6.     Click the BOOK button.

Please note that these meetings are conducted online.  In‑person meetings are limited and a fee will be assessed. To book an in person meeting, please schedule through planning@gardencityidaho.org.

After booking:

  1. Complete the Due Diligence/Initial Discussion Form.
  2. Email the form to planning@gardencityidaho.org.
  3. Be sure to include the date and time of your meeting so we can review your request ahead of time and serve you better.
