Job Description

POSITION OPENING: GARDEN CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY - PUBLIC SERVICES ASSISTANT I

The Garden City Public Library has an opening for Public Services Assistant I. The primary function of this position is to perform a wide variety of library and customer service duties including assisting patrons in finding materials, placing holds, checking items in and out to patrons, emptying the book drop, and shelving. This is a part-time position at 19 hours a week. Standard hours are Saturday 9:15am-4:15pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 4:00pm-8:15pm, Thursday 4:15pm-8:15pm.

Hours: 19hrs/wk

Wage Grade 3: Starts at $16.23/hr
